We are undergoing a kitchen remodel, which is open to our family room. Just had countertops installed and now I’m worried the cool tones in the kitchen don’t work with our existing sofa. I’m hoping to keep it, both to avoid spending more $ and because we like it, but I’m

not sure how to make the two spaces work together. Any suggestions? We will be updating the fireplace after the kitchen, though undecided on what we’ll do there. Also attaching a pic of the area rug I had planned to get, but I’m worried it’ll seperate the family room vibe from the kitchen even more. Any suggestions on how to make these spaces work together? I prefer a more casual “pottery barn” vibe over super modern.
