I moved near the beach and the high winds and salt air are really doing a number on my plants. The leaves are drying out and falling off like crazy where they usually are very robust. Horrid climate for them ... Gives new meaning to "growing hard."

Hi Maria hope you are doing ok maybe the winds will settle down some I guess that’s a drawback from living in a paradise is it getting the plumeria leaves to?

We have trade winds coming off the ocean from Africa here in the Caribbean. The adeniums are OK ... Just not as lush as I'm accustomed to seeing them. The Plumerias have acclimated well and Aztec Gold (smells like peaches) bloomed at the beginning of spring without one leaf. LOL. That was a precocious bloom! Anyway, they all have leaves now and are growing beautifully. Some have self branched; one seed-grown has 3-4 branches already.

• I know you said your plumeria didn’t do to well last year so they may do good this year 3-4 branches own seedling is real good what kind is it supposed to be?

katiedolittle, It's the ones you sent me, Roger. Intense Rainbow and Pink Pansy have 2 branches each; Bali Whirl has 3 branches. They are beautiful and the leaves are all healthy and green. My Aztec Gold has bloomed already this year and I expect it to do so again ... It's a prolific bloomer.

I forgot I gave away all the seed-grown except one, LaJolla Sunset. That one was a runt, so I kept it so I can nurse it. It is now growing beautifully. When I moved, I gave away 4 Miami Rose, 3 LaJolla Sunset, and 1 NoID Pink. One of the Miami Rose had 4 branches. Laura just sent me seeds and I will be planting those soon. I am so excited to have my little garden come together again.
