albomarginata for the huge one ... i cant remember which one with that name ... looks like there are 50 to 100 eyes in that pic.. if you want more.. its sitting right there ... sharpen the shovel and go at it ... cant kill this one.. and it multiplies like a rabbit ...

I assure you that is two. They are not that big, but would probably get bigger if i didn't squish them to death. I need one more, need to fill a space and don't think I can get a division out of these b/c I need the size.

That could be a So Sweet. Does it get greener and the edge go white in the summer? What color are the flowers? Are they fragrant?

Mine have been up for a while, and my photos do not include an emerging/early spring picture of a So Sweet.

when I google, it does kinda look like this one....undulata albomarginata. I'm wondering if the sunny location and discoloration is making it hard to id.

Oh man, I have that hosta but I’ll be damned if I can remember the name. I want to say it’s Prairie.....something. definitely not any type of albo as it keeps a nice gold color and has long leaves. If it’s the same as mine the brightens as the season progresses. If the name comes to me I’ll post it, but I make no promises! 😃

The flowers might not be so pretty to you but the hummingbirds love them. If you like watching humming birds leave the flowers this year and make a seat in a shady area nearby so you can watch the show.

regardless.. i am back to the same suggestion.. on the second pic above.. counting up ... from here ...

there are plenty of divisions to remove form either clump.. for you to dig one up ...and though it might not be as big as you want right now ... it will grow ... there is little instant gratification with hosta. unless you rip open the checkbook and pay for big plants ...

the more I research the more i think its the albo, but would that variety start out the colors shown above (in my spring/current pic)? it completely changes from spring to fall, now that I'm looking at both images. what it looks like now is not what it ends up like, the end result looks like albo.

That’s probably not the same hosta I have then, mine stays like your first pic but with the gold becoming brighter, not white. Maybe you have a crazy albo that starts out yellow. Ive never heard of that happening with an albo before though. I’ll take pics of mine when it emerges to compare....that is if the predicted freezes later this week don’t fry it.

It looks like undulata Albomarginata to me. I have them also. Pretty common hosta, but still a nice one. Maybe it’s bleaching out from too much sun.
