Vinegar added to composter

For awhile I had noticed the distinct smell of acetic acid in the "compost tea" draining from the base "spigot" of the composter. I then discovered that a family member had been adding vinegar to the bin in the form of salad dressing, ketchup, mustard, bbq sauces etc. If I leave the finished compost untouched longer than I would normally, allowing the acetic acid to work its way through the compost ie rain can the finished compost still be used successfully?
