I have refinished one of two built-in bookcases in my living room. My first thought was to stain them, but I have not found a stain color that I love. The floors are Loba Smoked Oak. The floor guy suggested walnut stain on the cabinets, but that looks too red. Should I paint them? The walls will be an off white, possibly BM White Dove, but I am waiting for the new furniture before I make the final decision. Thoughts?
