I don't currently own a banana, but this one looks pretty healthy to me 🤷🏽‍♀️ It has some healthy new growth, so would not be worried if I were you.

I see yours has babies and that might be something you want to keep an eye on. With small plants like yours, those babies could absorb too much energy in which case the growth of the mother is stunted. If you feel that's the case, getting rid of the babies might be your best bet. But for now I would just enjoy your beautiful plant!

Thanks for the response :) Yes all the new growth is happy and healthy so that makes me feel better. As for the pups, I’ve been doing some reading so deciding the best time to propagate the largest one into a new home

It looks great, two pups is plenty anymore then three I would start removing them once they are a foot tall.. The more sun you can give it the better. These are not meant for indoors as house plants so you may see it struggle as it gets older. If you are looking for it to actually grow and become tree like, it will have to be repotted several times over the next year. Your plant is 100% healthy not one issue with it. Are you talking west coast, California or Vancouver?

Hey Matt thanks for the response, yes west coast as in Vancouver. So cooler weather, although we’ve been having warm weather lately around 28 Celsius ( low 80’s F). I will keep an eye on the pup and repot once he is a foot tall. I don’t have any real expectation with how much I’d like to grow my parent plant maybe 3 or 4 feet max if I’m lucky (especially since our winters are so dark and often gloomy). I’ve never repotted any plant before, so I am just keeping an eye out on the tell tale signs like roots coming out of drainage holes (however when I stick my finger in the soil to check for moisture it feels like I am touching roots but my guess is that’s due to the pups)
