What color is the hutch? How about this color? (It'll go with your table.) SW 2806 Rookwood Brown. That gray you currently have on the walls is to cool.

I can see your home has been added on to or remodeled. I think the current dark upper wall against the white wainscotting is just adding to the choppy feel of the space. I suggest trying to bringing a feeling of symmetry and calmness to the room. I would paint upper wall same as wainscoting or a very light neutral or colour. In an effort to disguise the different size windows, add matching side panels to all three to bring symmetry. Ideally the table should be centred under one of the lighting fixtures, which I would change, no fans. It’s hard to tell if you could do that, and can’t really see the wall opposite the kitchen entrance.
Here is an inspiration photo of how I think your room could look. The ceiling is gorgeous in this photo, and while adding similar to your room would be a way to disguise the beam in middle, I realize it would be $$$.

I’m not sure if pic attached to my comment above. Seems comments are being cut off lately.

I think adding a chandelier would make a nice difference.
