My thyme is dying! HELP!!

My thyme is wilting and turning brown. I don’t think I overwater it, I water when the top 2 inches are dry. I gets enough sun and has a lot of space in the pot. It‘s about a month and a half old so it’s not fully mature yet. I hope someone can help!! Thank you!

I find that my thyme grows best in partial sun. Too much sun and it turns brown.

Herb in what zone are you? Please add that to your name so we can give you advice appropriate to your zone. If you live in FL you'll find that as ajersey said in FL thyme does best in partial sun but even then Thyme doesn’t do well as a perennial in Florida. I grow it yearly as an annual because as soon as we have really hot weather it dies off.
