Vaporvac, MAC becomes rather thorny as she matures. Her canes also become stiff in time, so train early. That said, she is ABSOLUTELY worth the trouble of protective gauntlet gloves and forward thinking training practices. I have no business growing this substantial Tea-Noisette in my itty bitty garden...but I just have to! Carol

Carol, it is so wonderful to see you posting! I had no idea you had the big and gorgeous Madame in your garden, but I applaud your daring. She is the rose of a lifetime, worthy of all the praise that's been heaped upon her. My dream rose is probably Reve d'Or, although I don't know if I'll ever have it again. Perma, your Fair Bianca is stunning. It's intricate petal formation makes this a very special rose, and I'm surprised that she isn't mentioned too often. I'm happy that even in these fraught time we have the beauty and charm of these roses to sustain us and to share among us.
