Oh Ann, I have many that are still in pips. These are a few early ones this year. No damage form the frost is a big plus!! Next week is supposed to warm up. :-D

But the waiting is so hard! I divided a bunch 2 weeks ago - since I won't be wandering the garden stores this summer, I decided to go "shopping" at home, to fill in bare areas of the garden. I turned 8 hostas into 25. I am so anxious to see everything come up!

When the hostas are unfurling----that's my favorite time. Yours are on their way to greatness, djacobz!

djacobz..they're looking good 😀..mine were unfurled during the record cold..I have damage on the ones with thinner leaves..I think your later start saved you some damage..🌿

I divided hostas for years, in order to get my beds filled up. It sure pays off. This is especially effective if you have some fast growers in different colors - green, blue, white, yellow. The old reliable hostas that everyone has already will work very well for this. Then the special purchases, that cost so much, have a neighborhood of hostas to grow up in.

The waiting is especially hard now that I'm working from home, and can see the shade garden every time I go to the kitchen or bathroom. It's finally warming up here, so I'm hoping that will speed things up.
