Other than saying it's a double flowered cultivar I don't think there's any way of naming it just from a disembodied flower, I'm afraid.

Thank you, i will go back to the tree and get photos of leaves and plant. I am in zone 8a and this is at a neighbors house. Would like to purchase two for fruit, and love this flower, but afraid of purchasing only ornamental? Do all pomegranates make fruit regardless?

My understanding is that double flowered cultivars seldom or never set fruit. If you want good pomegranates you need to buy a specific fruiting cultivar suitable for your area.

Double flowered poms are considered ornamentals. They can produce fruit (although doubles are far less likely to) but they are tiny compared to the fruiting types and not very good to eat.

I ordered two trees today. ‘Wonderful’ pomegranate trees!

Trees delivered today and planted! Only got 2’ but they seem very healthy and we picked very sunny spots for them. Very excited!
