Hello!

I want to start by saying this is such a great forum, and I am appreciative to all the time people put in providing expert information. I am new to container growing and have 3 citrus trees. Last summer they were doing quite well and produced new growth. This winter, my first with them, was particularly rough and they have lost almost all leaves. I re-potted them in Al's 5-1-1 mix in hopes it would help. I water once a week and fertilize at every watering, making sure to flush them once a month. I live in the Midwest, so they are just now being placed outside in sunlight, but were next to a south facing window during the winter months.

My main concern is they have what looks to be aggressive twig die-back. Im afraid Ive killed them, or will not be able to save them. The lime tree has the most dieback and does not appear to be slowing, but it has grown one new leaf. The others develop green bumps, but these eventually brown too. What do they need and how can I save them? I am grateful to any and all help.
