The first three blooms on Marilyn Lee Bocj were less than insipid. not opening and very pale. Today, she showed her true colors in a nice clump.

Gee, that is a lot of reds! I do love red, but look at this beauty; Early Shift

I don't have little hands, but this one is three hands breadth across! I laid both hands and realized how very large it is. It is a Davisson and well named.

Thanks to all. Sherry, it was about time. She had been a pale shadow of herself. I love clumps too, Debra. there should be fewer than usual because of all the changes in the garden, but I am so looking forward to new ones. Julia, I too love Davisson's plants. I have a couple more new ones of hers and, as usual, have my eye on a couple more of them. I was surprised at the the size of the bloom.. Stenciled Infusion is so pretty, but it has yet to increaes here.

You do like reds and I like yellows so my vote this round is for the Davisson pale yellow. Stenciled Infusion would be a close second. Always eye catching..........Maryl

These are looking better. :) Hopefully mine will as well since the heat is upon us! I went out to look at my Early Shift and I don’t think mine will be that large when it blooms unless that bud grows a lot more!! That is striking!! Very good photo of Stenciled Infusion-so pretty!

All are lovely! I am always drawn to Stenciled Infusion, but I am afraid it wouldn't like our climate.

Keep those photos coming. There are no scapes here except for dumortieri and two that were shipped in from Florida recently.

Maryl, I was pretty sure the yellow would catch your eye. Kate, you are still a bit north of me, but it is coming. I didn't expect that one to be so large either. \ Nancy, Your season is on the way. the cold just delayed it a bit and I always look forward to seeing what I "have to have next" when you start posting. thank you all for looking and commenting

I like the show Marilyn put on for you today. I’m with Maryl on that yellow Davison today, reminds me a bit of my oldie Top Honors.

Clump shots already! I love those clumps. Stenciled Infusion is a wonderful opener, and it looks beautiful in your garden. I noticed yesterday mine has a couple of scapes. I do love seeing that one in a clump.

Kay: Nice group and Stenciled Infusion looks really good. I'm a big fan of Judy Davissons intros and the ones I have do very good here. I'll have to go look at her site for Early Shift. I have a couple of her yellows here.

Kay - That's surprising that Stenciled Infusion hasn't increased for you. It was a rapid increaser here. Maybe I accidentally found its sweet spot.

Probably so, Debra. I moved Flaming Flaming three times before it was "happy". I may need to move SI. It is such a beautiful bloom that I would like to see it increase.

Lots of nice looking daylilies in this group that I love. Of course, I always notice Clown Parade, and Stenciled Infusion looks great.
