A & A in-floor cleaning system

Hello. Building a pool. Should I get in-floor cleaning system. Anyone regret installing one? My pool is 16x36 estimated 80k. 3 year warranty. Our pool builder is using A&A brand. We had questions he answered:

We have read that the in-floor cleaning systems continuously use electricity. How energy efficient is this system? We have read mixed reviews regarding in-floor.

Answer: The majority of in-floor cleaning systems are hydraulic driven, not electrical. When the pump is on, they are used as the water returns versus the surface returns. They are the most efficient means of heating a pool. They are the most efficient and effective means of delivering pool chemicals into the pool. Their performance and consumer experience is totally driven by the quality and experience of the installer. We install in-floor systems in 99% of our pools. Things such as minimized plumbing 90 degree fitting improve water flow performance, depth of pipes in the ground below the pool are factors. Every client we have, including those that questioned it as a possible cost cutting option who followed through, say they are glad they made that decision. All are willing to speak to anyone struggling with that decision. If you choose not to go with it, you would want to go with a robotic cleaner, specifically the Jandy 9650iQ sport that comes with a 3yr warranty and is the most effective and modern one on the market right now.
