yes! Glass absorbs UV rays and UV rays are what cause sunburn. If you stand in front of the window you won't get a sunburn -- if you stand in the sun outdoors you will. Same with your plants.

Also, remember, plants need to be hardened off against weather, too ... breezes, rain ... it will give them a chance to strengthen their stems.

Put them outside in shade first, then part sun, finally full sun so they have time to adapt to the greatly increased light.
