I think LR has enough interest, and also new art and curtains ... Curtains seem more important if you're open to view.... DR rug later, imo.

Number of windows - idk about medium-dark. You could order custom fabric shades I suppose. Here's an idea for white to blend with walls / large canvas, or other art, etc..

privacy - the up/or down cellular shades seem fantastic.

Get whiter I bring curtains so the Room don't feel too small and I like the dining Room table with no rug

Thanks for the suggestions! We will be getting white blinds, but I wasn’t sure what color curtains. I was thinking possibly bamboo shades for the French doors. I like the cellular shades also. We will be keeping the dining set.

I would suggest a more neutral rug for living room with grey sofa + yellow chair.

And I don’t think you need rug in dining area.

I completely understand wanting a nice view from a home desk, especially these days. That said, the desk in the living room seems like an afterthought, and one that intrudes into your living room, shifting everything down to accommodate it. One possibility would be to remove it from there, and put a longer, shallower built-in by the dining window to serve as your desk. When you are working, the dining table can offer additional space to spread out resources. When you are entertaining, clear the desk and it can be a place to put serving dishes, flowers, etc. The living room then would truly be a place to leave work behind and relax. Just a thought, and I realize that it’s not part of what you asked about. You have a lovely home.

We added some pictures to the walls! We will put our degrees and other achievements on the other wall beside the desk, and a calendar to keep up with our activities. We are thinking of putting a bookshelf in the space beside the sectional and desk. Thanks for the curtain suggestions. We will definitely be adding them.
