Hello, I don’t know the answers to your questions because I don’t have that expertise. I was given my first amaryllis plant in 2009 and that plant grew several shoots over the years. Including the plant in the picture above and this is the one that grew the seeds this year. The next photo is the seed pod though it has dried and seeds are almost ready to release. Thanks.
