Kashmiri Chillis
Just for fun, I tried germinating some seeds from my favorite chilli, the kashmiri from India.
It's a very wrinkly, deep red fruit. It's not overly hot, although the heat is very "deep" and lingers awhile. Great flavor. The colour it imparts to food is quite unique, super deep crimson red. It pairs well with ancho and guajillo to make the ultimate chilli con carne.
Anyways, I digress. Three of the seeds I harvested from the pods actually germinated.
Does anyone have any experience growing this variety?
I'm not overly experienced with growing chillies. ( more tomatoes, Hostas and shade perennials. ) so any hints, tips would be appreciated.
I can't post pics in main article so I will in comments.
Cheers
J.
