Hi Corrin, I see that this window is in your master bedroom and am wondering if it is on the the east or west side of the house. If so, you will want to consider a film or some type of arch treatment for the arch as it will wake you up at sunrise! If you get sufficient privacy from the blinds, I would use panels on the small side windows there that go slightly into the center window.

I would use Cellular shade with top-down bottom-up feature so you can let in the light and not take away from the view of your back yard! They also offer amazing insulation against heat and cold. Cellular shades also almost disappear when they are up :-) Enjoy!

I would like to recommend that you use a cordless honeycomb shade. There is an amazing assortment of colors to choose from. Also, choosing cordless, you will get the least amount of light leaking through the sides. This will help you with your privacy as well as blacking out your rooms. There is also a feature where you can add a top down bottom up lifting system. This means you can lower the shade from the top allowing light to come through but keeping your privacy as well. Please see the attached picture to see the top down bottom up feature.

I assume that you have some esperience with cellular shades as well as the othe window treatments that you are considering. . I raised that point since I find people either love cellular shades or hate them. I thought that your decisions might have been driven by different price points until I saw that you were thinking about shutters for the leaded windows. you state that you want to be able to see the beautiful lead windows when you are not in need of privacy. in that respect, do you think that you going want to go to the trouble to swing the shutters open to see the windows. you also have to think about the space that is available for opening them. would you have panels 9n thsee windows if you have shutters? if you want privacy and light control and space is an issue, then you might consider a modern Roman shade, which are not as billowy as a typical Roman shade. I will say if you can afford a window treatment that you really want, then go for it. if you opt for a cheaper less desirable treatment, then you you most likely will spend more money in the long rung since you will want to replace it with what you wanted in the first place. also, I assume that you have looked at the space that each window has for mounting the different treatments. this is essential since will determine what treatments that will work, how they will need to be hung, and if you'll need special modifications to accommodate the treatment.
