They are an allium, onion family, many of which are grown for the flower not the bulb. At bloom or a foliage picture if any is left will facilitate a more detailed ID.

Could be a Walking Onion. aka: Mother Onion, Egyptian, etc. If it is one of these, the top will quickly turn to baby onions that will drop to the ground and grow. Or, you can gather and plant where you want. The Main (parent) onion can live for years.

Or it could an Allium flower, as suggesated above.

It could be wild garlic. I have tons of it in my yard. I am always pulling it up after a rain but I will never be rid of it.

Yes, it is either garlic or Egyptian Walking Onion - since I don't see a lot of shoots beside it (unless they have been knocked down by rain and are out of frame) I would guess garlic.

I don’t think it’s possible to say which Allium it is from just a bud with no flower, no foliage and no scale. It could equally a leek or some other member of the family.

If you stand with your back to the car and push on the Allium stalk which will from that side be on the right the peony becomes more upright. And if you pull the left stalk toward you the peony bends closer to the ground.

That's why the peony is currently nearly horizontal, the left Allium stock is bent back toward it.
