So are you wanting to just go more neutral now? I think the rug looks good.

ShoeBaroff, I think it’s getting to me too! I’m not a designer, so I won’t offer advice. To me, your room and all the furnishings work together and it looks like a nice room to relax, look out the windows, read a book, watch tv, take a nap. Your rug works because it doesn’t jump up at you or take center stage, it’s part of the whole,in my humble opinion!

I agree that your current rug works, I like the combination of modern and traditional combined. but, the ideas above offer a change of pace... a more modern, lighter feeling. you can swap them in out throughout the year. many rugs are very reasonably priced these days, so it doesnt have to be a huge expense.

I found a rug!!!!!!!! We love it.

yeah!!! its gorgeous, love the peacockie color in it. its modern feeling too and a bit rustic and works great with the coffee table. patience is a virtue.

We purchased the rug from a local dealer in Phoenix called PV rug. It’s called a gabbeh (spelling?) it was the first one we agreed upon.
