Karin--Frisian collection photo, what is the blue ruffled hosta at the bottom of the photo? I need to add that to my 'someday' list!

It's Frisian Waving Steel, should be available in the States too.

Beautiful pictures. I am thinking of ordering mini hostas. Does anyone have advice? I am in garden zone 8. I have heard slugs like them, so have been hesitant to plant any hostas.

Beautiful hostas, and beautiful photography! Sapphire Pillows might go on my list. I've only seen young ones and wasn't impressed. It certainly improves with age.

Sapphire Pillows is a must have. As every hosta it needs a little time to develop it's full beauty.

Here is a picture from 2018, the year I got it. I fell in love with it the first moment I saw it, the colour was so amazing.

you mean the display with the Frisian hostas? Most of them I got last year as very small plants and I'm happy that they grow so nicely. I will take single pictures of them soon and post them,

I'm glad that it is raining today, after weeks of sunshine and wind the garden and the surroundings are bone dry.

I made a lot of divisions this spring and sold a few older plants completely to make room for new hosta :-) Despite my efforts to hold back on buying, there are nearly 50 nexcomers...here are a few of them...

Mango Tango, I did not have to pay for it because the seller had problems with this hosta, they got frost and did not like the wet winter at all. As many in my garden...but he sent it anyway and now I'm trying my best :-)

And for those who remember the thread with my poor Deep Pockets which had to crawl out under a heavy pot...here it is, just a few maimed leaves, but beautiful as ever :-)

Karin..yes!..what a beautiful group of solids..fountain shaped..long ruffled leaves..such pretty blues and greens..I love it..
we've had lots of rain and lower than average temperatures..our 7 day forecast says temperatures will finally warm up but there's a slight chance for rain every day..

Gorgeous collection as always Karin and a great lesson in space management techniques. Have you left room for you and your cat lol!

Cacti and Succulents became a second plant passion. They are also available in winter and so plant parcels don's have to stop coming :-)

While cleaning windows I have a nice view over the Echinocereus collection and my beautiful side garden :-)

It is still raining and I have time to show a few more pictures.

Karin..every one of them is just beautiful..Frisian Sun Wave's longer leaves remind me of a Valley's..thanks for the photos of my favorite type (solids with wavy edges)..🙂

Beautiful plant Karen. I see so many new or different ones on the market that I like but since I have no more room ,I can drool on everyone else's beauties. I admire someone that has so many potted hosta and the placement to make it look so perfect. What a great view from such a sparkling window., Mine look clean until the sun shines through

The plants enjoy the rain. And they look almost as clean as my windows :-) Everything had been yellow from pollen the last weeks and as I'm feeding birds all year long there had been a lot of droppings. I will enjoy my nice clean plants as long as the birs allow it :-)
