Does This Layout Work?

I’ve moved my living room around 3-4 times. We have a collection of furniture from over the years and it needs to be updated, but I don’t want to buy anything new until I find a layout I like. This is the closest I’ve gotten. I like it because it doesn’t block the natural light and it feels cozy to me.
What are your overall impressions? Any suggestions?
