There are thousands of all types of peonies unless there is something distinctive about it identification would be hard.

It’s not close enough to take a photo but after having looked at photos online, I suspect it’s a ‘Festiva Maxima’ :)

I am getting one!

I have festiva maxima in my garden and it does indeed produce an abundant number of blooms without me doing much to it (in fact, I had to thin the buds). It has the distinctive random streak of pink on a few petals. Have fun planting yours!

Thank you for confirming Adelaide! The buds did indeed have some pink streaks to them. This is what I used to identify it :)

I have 7 peonies (reds, pinks & coral) & am not crazy about the whites & creams but this one total changed my mind!
