What is wrong with the white . IMO a very beautiful finish compared to paint. Where is this space and what does the room look like ? I would embrace those and not change them maybe just change the area a bit around them to make them work but I need more info.

Yes, they are so pretty. I also vote to keep them as they are. And it looks like your paint color is the popular Agreeable Gray or something similar, which goes beautifully with the colors you have.
