Please do! One doesn't often see these roses. Are they newly planted?

Well, since I am a renter all my roses are in pots, which get dragged into the unheated garage in the winter. I did have the time to repot all of them this spring though, and the ones that went into a size larger pot need to grow before they bloom.

These are lovely, and all are roses not often seen. Quietness is one I especially like, a very pretty rose with such a soft color.

I've tried twice this morning to post more pictures on here, and the whole post disappeared when I hit submit. will try one more time today, if that doesn't work will try to post under a new topic.

It's strange. It reads backwards and not everything opens on my phone, but it's all fine here. Recently, It registers my likes internally, but doesn't show them numerically. I guess I should do a proper complaint, but it's very annoying, I agree ksgreenman. Good thing I really care about the forum members and feel our posts are more conversations that people talking at one another.

Yes, its basically just a slight color variation of the old Apothecary's Rose, and indeed it occasionally reverts back to that rose. (I had that happen once, and had to get another Rosa Mundi). It's also nice and invasive, so plenty of suckers to separate out and give away when it's kept in a pot.

A couple more roses blooming this weekend.

A couple of blooms of Quietness, the were hidden in the middle of the plant so I had to bring them out with my hand to photograph.

Now, this rose is an almost certainly mis-identified one I got just as Vintage Gardens was closing. It was sold to me as Jenny Duval, but it doesn't look anything like either of the suspects for that rose. I'm going to guess it is either a gallica seedling of some kind, or a very slightly different version of the old Apothecary's Rose, which is greatly resembles. It was a bit more fragrant and much more vigorous/invasive than the Apothecary's Rose I had at the time, so I'm not actually sure what it is. This is actually a sucker I separated from the parent plant last year, the parent still hasn't started blooming yet.

I love your mislabelled rose!!! I assume it's a once bloomer? :)

Despite the rain we've been having, I have a few more pictures to show, even though the roses have been too soggy to survive being picked.

Fairmont Proserpine had already lost some of her petals... but still smelled divine.

Shailer's Provence. A plant of this rose grew in front of the house I grew up in. Took me forever to identify it and find another.

What patience you have! You must appreciate the whole rose plant -- not just the flowers -- to put in such care and time! Beautiful!
