Pool Tile Question Urgent

Hello I have a question I'm hoping I can get answers to. We're having our pool resurfaced and tile replaced but the tile job looks completely sub par to me (compared to numerous house tile jobs I've personally done anyway). I'm wondering if I'm being too picky or if the work is truly sub par. I understand the grout will hide some imperfections but I would never let this pass if it were me doing the work. The gaps are uneven, tiles are tilted, the heights vary slightly, the corners all look pretty bad. Please tell me if I'm being too much of a critic and this is the norm. If I'm not I'd like to get it corrected before the grout goes in.

This is so not acceptable. There will way to much grout. Personally, I would not accept this.

If this was in a shower, would you accept it? No. A pool is a very harsh environment. Perfection may not be a requirement but FUNCTIONAL is. I question the functionality of this installation. I also worry about how well the tiles have grabbed the mortar behind them. Has anyone checked the coverage of the tiles. The mortar looks slap-happy which has me concerned.

Not acceptable.

4'-5' before the corner, an exact measurement should have been taken and the number of tiles determined.

After a quick calculation, a small amount cut from each of those tiles would have provided a consistent size to the corner. Even though the tiles would not be full size, it would hardly be noticeable. The small and oddball sizes presently in the corner look terrible.
