Laundry sink trap

The existing drain plumbing for a basement laundry sink has a pvc elbow marked 1 1/2 inch. One side is glued to the drain pipe going to the sewer, the other side which goes to the p trap has male threads. But the threads are a lip and so make the end more than 1 1/2. The 1 1/2 nuts won’t fit. what sort of connection

must be made here? So far I cannot get my hands on a 2 inch nut to try it. Best asked with pictures. see Outside and inside of this elbow. What is this kind of configuration called? My internet search has come up with no pictures of this combination of pvc piping.

You need the female (nut) end of a 1 1/2" P trap; that's what came off.

Perhaps it would be best if you said what you're trying to accomplish.

Thanx for taking time to answer. I am putting in a new P trap to a new slop Sink. I have a 1 1/2 inch P trap assembly, but the 1 1/2 female nut does not fit on that thread lip on the elbow in the picture. The female nut is too small. Those threads protrude and make a LIP on the elbow pipe. I will try again when I am at the location. Maybe I am mistaken.

If you have a trap assembly, you have the female and the male. Cut off the pictured male, prime and glue your new male on and you should be good.

The laundry sink also has an unfamiliar drain. Instead of a typical hole where a drain can be passed through it has a built in 1 1/2 drain with threads under the sink. A drain must be threaded onto it. I am also unable to find a drain that will do that. Usually I can go to the supply shop and just ask for what I need, but ordering stuff online I do not know what to ask for and all searches in internet have not resulted in anything.
