Hello everyone,

I'm getting a platform bed for my guestroom. This the the bed I'm getting::

I would like to put a bench at the foot of the bed so the guests can place their luggage on. The problem is the top of the bench will be higher than the bed with a mattress.

I checked the internet for pictures of platform beds, and noticed most of them do not show a bench with the bed.

Would it look odd to place a bench at the foot of the platform bed?
