It's was time... ❤️❤️

~My mom decided to leave this earth and go and be with the rest of her family up in heaven yesterday afternoon ...🙏

She is at peace now... she is smelling all of beautiful blooms and watching her Seagulls and Cardinals as she holds the hands of her mom and dad and sisters and brothers. ❤️

My heart is broken and you can never prepare for the loss of your mom or any loved one. Alzheimer’s is an awful disease that can make you mourn long before the actual physical loss....💜

Being in this pandemic made it even worse since I could not see her or hold her until yesterday. It had been three months since I last took her to lunch... But it’s not about me, it’s about my mom...🌺

My mom was a strong woman right up until yesterday when she decided it was time. So my mom even up to the end had it her way!! ❤️

It’s painful and I’m hurting so deeply, but i know she is in a better place... now she is free to do as she pleases.

I’ll miss you mom and the way you loved smelling my Plumeria... Just hanging with me as we ride in the car and going out to lunch!! You always enjoyed being together even when the words were hard to find.. Sometimes words aren’t necessary when you can tell that you’re happy and content being in my presence... and for that, I’ll be forever grateful.🙏

Until we meet again Mom is when we can walk hand in hand...when I see those Blue Herons in my yard or those Red Cardinals flying around, I know you are with me. But you will always be with me anyway...

I love you so much and I miss you!!

Rest well my beautiful Mom ❤️

My heart-felt condoleces to you, Laura. Oh, my God ... We both lost our mothers to the same illness, in the same timeframe, and in the same manner. My mom, too, just ceased ... It was time. I, too, wrote a similar memorial post with her picture. God bless you and comfort you during this time. Remember your mother's smile and the joy you brought her life. Hold and cherish that memory ... It will bring you peace. Our moms are now angels smiling down on us. Hugs.

    Laura,

My deepest condolence to you and your family.

My mom had same Alzheimer’s and went to heaven last August. I still see her smile when I close my eyes. Then This January, lost my biological father.

Your mother will be with you all the time.

    Dear Laura,

I don't know if you remember me. I used to be on plumies forum as a lurker and once in a while we chatted through your yahoo email.

    I'm H.

Anyway, I've never been in gardenweb forum again since it changes to Houzz.

I found out from my plant friend musaboru that your mom passed away.

Please accept my condolences and sorry for your loss.

    H

Thank you everyone for your heartfelt condolences for my mom. It’s been difficult as you all might understand because this was unexpected. She did have Alzheimer’s but she passed from a heart attack ... She was lucky to be in the arms of an aid who was there with her even thought I wish it was me. I did receive a call right then and was told to come ASAP... all I could do was to suit up in my garb with the help of a director of her memory care trying to get me back.. suited up with goggles, mask and gloves and sitting with my mom was like I was in a different world. She was already gone.. but I just missed that point. I stayed with her until it was time for her to be assisted.. I left empty and alone. Never thinking it would end this way. I’m broken.. she was my Best friend and knew me right up to the end. She started to understand FaceTime and would tell the helpers “ that’s my daughter, Laura”

knowing that makes me happy.. she didn’t suffer ..

June is Alzheimer’s awareness month 💜

i just wanted to share .. talking about this has helped me with the loss. I have lost two family members in two months and in this crazy world with everything happening it’s just unbelievable... The world has changed and I can hardly watch the news now.. just makes me sick ... So many things that are so upsetting.

Taking the 3 month leave for those who know my profession was the right decision....

Thank You Maria, Chris , Rox , Toshi 🙏, Brian , H ( yes I remember you Xoxox) and Tropic... you all are so kind to post for me and my mom. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You! 💜🦋💜

My Brother was making me laugh as he yells to my mom that he drew the Butterfly... this was how we could visit our mom for the last 3 months ... my brother would always try to visit with me as it was so hard to walk away from her window...

Love your friends and your family .💜

Life is precious and you never know when it’s time to leave .

Rox... I wish I was sitting on your balcony right now looking at the view with a glass of wine with you... admiring your collection of Plumeria and of course the A shells! I look at the shells you sent to me and K and I think of you daily... 🥂. Until we meet again, my dear... I’m heading out next Spring for Buds 99th Birthday. I spoke to him yesterday and he’s doing great!! Maybe we can set up a visit with Jean??? Missing you and your hugs! Xoxoxx 💜

    Beautiful Laura.

Be overjoyed, she is now free of her bio-shell and made it through her second birth...her light and spirit are free. Her experience in true beauty can now be realized. I work in emergency medicine and I witness it with expiration. We all are beings of light and energy trapped in this crappy bio-shell....and the second birth is such a great release...it is beautiful. No matter what religion or belief system you follow (Or dont follow), just know she is welcomed and so happy.

    Thank You Stephen!!!

It’s been hard but I’m learning to relax and know she isn’t suffering anymore.

She is at peace I’m sure. I have had signs knowing she was making sure I was ok.. one day we can share this experience... I’ll be forever thankful.

Take good care and thank you 🙏💜🙏
