Insect nest on window?

Hello! I found this oddly-geometric structure on my kitchen window this morning (it wasn’t there yesterday), and it looks to be the start of some kind of insect nest (yes, I’m sure it’s not a worm). I’d love it if anyone could shed some light on what this may be!

Leaffooted Bugs lay eggs like that, and sometimes in very inappropriate locations.

Not a nest, just a string of eggs.

Oh my goodness! I didn't even think that they might be eggs! And that makes a LOT of sense because we saw a leaffooted bug on that window last night, before the appearance of the eggs (I didn't know exactly what kind of bug it was at the time). So cool, thanks!
