I love the end tables and I would put lamps on them! However the tea table is too high for your room.

Thanks, all! I have been looking for months for the right cocktail- tea table. This piece is the right size because there is a chair and an ottoman on the opposite side of the sofa. The narrowness of the table accommodates the ottoman. I initially had planned to distress and paint the brown Queen Anne table, but after bringing it from home, it is too big for the space. I am ok with the height since it is a tea table. Agree about moving the plant. I was playing around this morning with accessories. So the majority say no to the tea table. In the boutique where I found this tea table, they had it placed in front of a sofa and it looked great. Maybe with the pair of parlor tables, it will look more together??? Yes, no.....???

Yes, if you don't mind the height, like you said it is a tea table, I think it will look great with the parlor tables;)

PS. Since it is a tea table, why not add *tea* accessories? ie: pretty tea cup/saucer, book on teas, small vase of *tea* roses :)))

@dorrie2012: Thanks for the additional explanation of the rest of the room. It is a tea table, as you say, and it works well in proportion with the other furniture. That's all good. If you ever wanted it shorter, it'd be easy to cut down the spindles.

Thanks, everyone, for your input. Because this is a second home at the beach, I think china tea cups and saucers might be a tad too formal. I want this house to exude a somewhat casual atmosphere with a relaxed feel. I will add some coastal pillows to the sofa. The chain link fabric and the leaf fabric pillows have matching chairs on the opposite side of the room.

Margo, it is a work in progress. The bamboo shades are an informal look, as well as the Sisal rug. On the opposite side of the room is a round, distressed, painted, occasional table and a linen colored floor lamp with sea shells and two coastal-beach pictures. The leaf and chain link fabrics are indoor-outdoor fabrics.

I didn't take pictures of the entire room since I was questioning lamps on those tables. Guess I should have! :)

Thinking of ordering those two parlor tables and will take pictures when they arrive. Any suggestions on lamps? The tables measure 20x20 round, 26" height. Thank you!!

What about a glass bowl or jar with sea shells and then some great books? You could make candle holders with sea rocks and shells, as shown here.

So funny, this is similar to what I made for my dining room table. I have sugar sand, shells and pillar candles. Thinking of making a similar sand accessory for the table! Lots of options!!
