Picking a few from the past few days

There are so many blooming now it is hard to just pick a few to post and I am sure you are ready to see someone else’s garden so I am glad to see other members’ blooms beginning!!!

Still not peak but you can see some stand out clumps.

I did try to put another section in comments but lost it twice. As I said, so many blooming now (you know, Kay) that it is hard to select just a few when you have so many you want to show. I think this is the year for Clown Parade to shine-unbelievable how much it has multiplied and has decent bud count and scapes.

This is a small section of my roadside bed. I had posted part of the round bed close to the house in the comments that would not post and I have three other large beds in the front garden. Oh, and another half of that roadside bed-and the beds that surround the house and glory, glory, I now have the reclaimed jungle bed!!! I think I will save all those pictures and dedicate a post just to those. Thank you for comments!! Oops, forgot to mention that the Starling lily has not multiplied well-this is third year and I have two scapes up and no increase in fans. Time for a talk?

Lovely shots, Kate! I picked Gold Breasted Starling as my favorite today, such a delicate looking bloom with a triple edge. Clown Parade is always such a show off!

Beautiful garden! Clown Parade sure is lovely! I also like the color of Bluegrass Music. I love the delicate colors of Gold Breasted Starling.

Beautiful shots! Clown Parade is beautiful. Gold Breasted Starling s really pretty, but Pistachio Eyes is my favorite. Love that color.

In your garden shot two colors stand out to me. A small red dab of color near the foreground and a nice looking pinkish clump nearer the back. What are they?..............Maryl

Clown Parade is sure a shining star. uh clown?, in these photos, always a favorite for me. I like Gold Breasted Starling too at the other end of the scale, suce a delicate beauty

I'm in a pink mood this morning. Pistachio Eyes and Fiji are my favorites of these. Gold Breasted Starling is a looker. I ordered it the year of its intro from Lambertson, but Rachel contacted me and told me part of the fans they had lined out on it died and it would not be available. I decided if it was even dying on Lambertson, it surely wouldn't survive for me. Hope yours is long-lived! Bluegrass Music is a pretty one when it looks blue like that. Sailing Into the Blue, which I grow, is a child of Bluegrass Music, and it's obvious where it gets its good looks. The garden shots are lovely!

We never tire of looking at photos from your garden. Keep posting them! We really haven't seen many at all.

Thanks, all, for the comments. Brad. I use my iPhone for everything-photos and posting. I am sure the ”update/upgrade” by Houzz interfered with that-have not had those problems.

Lambertsons have been hit or miss with some performing well and others dwindling away. Starling is in a pretty good spot with good sun but not west burning sun that ironically seemed to bother my other Lambertsons-go figure that!

Maryl, that standout out little red you see is a miniature rose. It has bloomed its tiny heart out this spring. The large pinkish group of daylilies in the back you mentioned is Cosmic Rose, a fabulous bloomer!
