Hello y’all!

Just purchased my first home here in Texas, and somewhat stumped on where to begin my exterior makeover.

My main concern is the brick “knee wall” that is connected to the garage, which covers our front patio.

My wife seems to like it, but I feel that it hides the house and it needs a little “something” to add more curb appeal.

I was considering horizontal wood slats placed on the surface.. but still not sure.

I was planning on painting the brick as well, but indecisive as to what color. (Leaning towards white or dark grey)

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
