how did you spray them.. under the leaves.. did you move every pot.. did you clean the benches.. etc ...

worst pest. I used all the poisons you mentioned. Mistake. All those expensive and dangerous chemicals require the mite to be wet from the treatment. It dries as fast as water. Then nothing. Also the mites get amuned to the poison. Just as effective and completely safe to you and it can be repeated without them getting used to it. Gentile dish soap. Ivory, Dawn. It must have "gentile" on the label. about 1/2 oz to gallon of water. You must be thorough. Most important is the bottom of the leaves. They seem to be partial to dendrobium. With 200 plants Move them all out and sprayed as you go. Then spray the area with the soap. In one week put them all back and spray as you go. And to be sure do it again in 7 more days. They leave eggs. Buy a jewelers loop or a magnifying glass. for inspections.Isolate all infected plants.

This will be a lot of work but is necessary. Some of the damaged leaves will be needed by the plant. They get ugly but will give vital nutrition to the plant. I still have a few damaged leaves from 5 years ago. Be tenacious like a bulldog with no quit!

You must fertilize your plants during this process. It will help them survive.

It is in the greenhouse. The plants are on wire shelves. They seem to be especially vicious towards the dendrobiums and my sambac jasmine. They seem disinterested in the angraecums, citrus, and cattleyas for now but they won’t leave my sambac alone. All the leaves are now yellowish on this 4 ft jasmine which is my favorite plant. I hope it will be alright. I even put it outside for the summer and power washed it and they are still attacking it. I have been spraying under the leaves mostly on all the plants but I haven’t washed the shelves.

Spray gentle dish soap, not poison.
