My family moved to a new home this winter (Boston area, zone 6b) and have been thrilled to find wonderful perennials popping up all over our new back yard. We aren’t doing any planting or meddling this year - just watching what comes up and making a game plan for next year. This one area is stumping me, though. Given the way it looks now (and assuming there aren’t more surprise plants on the way, how would you plant this area? It gets morning sun but also gets very wet - the pile of rocks at the right is a gutter outlet, and the patio drains into this area.

The ground here is largely moss covered, with lots of little plants popping up (looks like several varieties of mint, bittercress, nightshade, rocket). The back left clump of plants look like some kind of lillies. The middle plant is a very healthy, happy looking peony. And at the right is some kind of grapevine (I think).
