Sea salt is a very popular SW color for many years. For good reason.

I have it in a guest bath, mine is paired with white.

Can we see a whole picture of the room. Looking at your tiles, I’m not convinced Sea Salt will work in there.

Yes, I agree with neutrals. It’s a nice bathroom. I would match the lightest cream that is in the accent tiles.

For a small bathroom, I like a glass shower door. As long as the tiles are in good shape.

We added a glass shower door onto a bathtub to a tiny guest bathroom. It opens up the space.

That said, shower curtains can be a fun accessory.

I love beiges as well, but trying to step outside of my box. I'm thinking Edgecomb Grey is a neutral and may match nicely. I was trying to get ahead of the game and plan.

Edgecomb can be very muddy. I have rental properties and have used it on more than one occasion. It’s popular color and could work though.

My only concern is your lack of natural light in that room.

Get a big piece of white paper and buy a sample. I don’t think it would be a good idea to try to paint over the burgundy.

Yes, this whole house is painted pretty dark colors so I believe it will need to be primed first. Any suggestions on lighter beiges that may work? I have been looking into the greiges but I am not such a fan of those that lean towards the greyer side. I learned that colors can be lightened or darkened in the store so I was thinking that may be an option.

There are many creams and beiges that are popular, but you don’t get a lot of natural light.

I think we need to research colors that work in low light rooms.

I would get an experts advice on how to lighten or darken. There are formulas for that.
