I love near whites and creams. They break up the other colors and make dark colors pop. I think Voila Francois may be my favorite of the ones posted. Song of Promise sure makes a pretty clump. Of the colorful ones in the second post, my favorites are the reds, Christmas Snow and Fear Not.

My favorite is Call me Irresistible, I love the yellow edge on the white bloom. Another favorite, I’m with Debra, Fear Not is at the top of the list too. It’s hard to pick favorites, so many beauties today.

Lovely group. I do try to put in whites/near whites in the bed just to give a break in all the color. I like the form on Song Of Promise.

I love whites and near whites, I have mine in a white garden. Remember when "moon gardens" were in? Some are getting to be large clumps, so I need to divide and put some among my other daylilies. I agree about whites making other colors popl. Francois V is so pretty, my favorite of these not sure whether mine will recouperate enough to bloom this year after its accident with my husband last year! I really like Fear Not too.

Whites are pretty, delilcate but I love intense colors . I guess cuz I am not a particularly girly girl so I am not drawn to all the frills . I agree though that they help to accent or show off the other colors just by their very intense contrast . I think I only have 2 or 3 white ones.

Kierabel is one I had never heard of ? May I ask who is selling it ? Love the look of that bloom

I love the colors. Some of my favorites are God's Paintbrush, Rachelle Agin, Fear Not, and Divine Impulse. Beautiful!

Thanks all. I really never think about the whites until they bloom and then think how pretty they are! Heather, Kierabel is a Grossmann intro from Northern Lights. He sent it as a bonus a couple of years ago. I really like it.

I do love Viola Francois, but I am impressed with Song of Promise. Of the colors, Kierabel is gorgeous. Love the color on God's Paintbrush.

What a grand collection of whites and near whites. I'm one that doesn't favor pale colors, but when you combine the form and edge you have on some of your whites I have to give them a thumbs up. I'd not heard of Song of Promise before, but your pictures of it are inspiring. The deeper colors are nice too, but for this post your whites take center stage.......Maryl

Song of Promise always has some luscious blooms, and you captured it beautifully. Your Divine Impulse is different from other web pics, which do not have an edge or a lighter midrib.
