So I got my lucky money tree a couple months ago at a fair. When I brought it home, I checked the soil and sure enough, there were a bunch of little bugs in it. I never figured out what they were, but I rinsed off all the bugs and old soil and replaced it with fresh clean soil. It sits on a little table by my window and since I got it, half of the plant has been dying and the other half has been thriving. It has about 5 stalks braided together. While 3 of them have grown tall and sprouted many new leaves, the other two stalks have become kind of hollow and soft and do not produce any new growth. I’m wondering what I should do to prevent this from happening to the remaining stalks. Also, should I unbraid the plant and remove the bad parts, or would that cause too much stress for the plant? Any advice would be so so appreciated. Thank you!
