Siblings Blooming for the first time

These two seedlings, which are siblings, are the first daylilies to bloom here except for the ones that were just shipped in. We have started doing some diploid crosses--all of which are miniatures. These are Penny's Worth X Peas and Thank You. The flowers are about 3 inches across.

My the sibs are quite different in color. Very nice color on both of them.

It's nice to have some early blooming daylilies. I like the bitone look of the first one.

Though yellow always grabs my eye, the first one is very colorful! Obviously, not identical twin siblings!! :)

That is such a glowing yellow. Very saturated. Of course I like the orange bicolor. It's got it all...............Maryl
