I'm afraid that is trumpet vine, Campsis radicans. It can (and will) grow anywhere!! Unless you want to battle it endlessly popping up all over your garden, you don't want to encourage other planting and I would take extreme measures to get rid of any existing shoots and their roots. A very aggressive spreader.

Thank you. Are there other vines you might recommend that are relatively fast growing and will grow in the shade or partial shade? Also does this one pop up elsewhere because it is spreading roots? I've never seen any kind of flower.

It has orange trumpet flowers, some cultivars have yellow or red. It probably doesn't get enough sunlight to bloom. The roots spread far from the mother plant and shoots will pop up everywhere. It broke broke my fence post, the branches cause more wind stress.
