How to remove dry like marks off my wall.

Hello All,I have what looks like dry sponge marks on my wall from LONG time ago (like maybe a year or so) when i was cleaning it. I have no idea why i havent noticed this until now. I tried getting a cloth with water to see if it would just come off with water but no dice after it dried as I could still see it.Have i forever ruined my wall?Is a mixture I could use to get the dry streak marks off?

Are you saying that was a solid color before the problem occurred?

Looks like it is time to repaint the entire room.

@graywings123 More it looks like at one point when i was using a sponge the smear mark I guess stayed behind so it's noticeable.... I never really noticed it until now since I'm not usually in my room during the day (at work) and it's usually dark outside when I come in.

I didn't notice it all that much with my room's lights but I did notice it when my lights was off and sunlight came in my room.
