That is a very nice allium!! When It showed up in catalogs a few years ago it caught my attention, didn't order it (the price!) but after seeing this growing in your garden it will be a must have this fall. The regular pinkish colored one has spread itself around here with seeds and if the white form is planted far enough away it should come true from seed.

How would you describe the color of the flowers? Creamy light green? Does the color change as the flower matures and fades?

I dont seem to see the pink flowered karataviense available for sale. If the white one is "Ivory Queen" what is the name for the pink flowered one?

It is the species as it is found growing naturally in the wild. Brent and Becky's has it listed.

Thanks Jeb. B&B is an American company and this makes it problematic shipping to Canada. And at this point I cant source the red/pink one via a Canadian supplier.
