It looks like there is a problem with the roots. Watering every other week seems like not enough but the plant looks very wet.

What was the orchid bark mix you used like. Was it chunks of bark or more fine and composted?

Where are you growing it , what is the climate like?

What did the roots look like when you repotted it?

it 's in medium size bark not big chunk , it looked wet b/c i washed when i take it out of the pot .

I am in northern California , climate is 70F to low 50F at night .

the root is soft , i pulled the outer part out to clean .

Where did you have the orchid at night in winter? How much sunshine is the orchid getting?

    Does it have name tag?

Those temperatures might be a little cool for a Cattleya. They would be able to survive at that temperature but it wouldn’t be optimal. That combined with not enough water could be your problem.

It looks like the roots are dead but the plant can recover from food stored in the pseudo bulbs. I would re pot it and try to keep it in a slightly warmer spot in a window indoors. I think watering should be once a week. I might take a while but eventually you should see some growth around the base of newest growth, the one to the right in the photo with the light brown sheath.

Thanks James and Meyermike to suggested , i will buy moss maybe keep the moisture longer .

Any type of orchid bark good for orchid ?

Repotme has good mixes that can be ordered. Better Grow is also good and easy to find at garden centers. I would stay away from Miracle Grow, theirs is more broken down like potting soil.

Can the plant summer outdoors? I would repot in bark with some sphag mixed in. Soak the bark for a few hours and then pot the plant. If the plant can go outdoors that would be the best otherwise a bright sunny window
