Covering Electricity Boxes

Hello,

I bought a house, where in the study room, it hosts two electricity boxes (pulling out around 3.5 - 3cm). If I measure a rectangle around them, it would be around 70cm x 50cm.

I was looking into ideas of how to cover them. I found some solutions online that would work if I only had one (or if they were placed on top of each other) but struggling to find an off the shelf product that covers both.

I don't mind some DIY work if it's on the easier scale as well but I do not own any power tools for wood working.

How about a cabinet door, mounted on a frame that is thick enough so that the door doesn't hit the boxes. Held shut with a simple magnet catch. Either wood or painted whatever color you want.

I don't know what the code says where you live about hiding electrical boxes, but as long as it's not done permanently so they are not accessible, it should be OK.

I would get a piece of canvas art and hang it over the front of them- easy and decorative!

Take likewhatyoudo's idea and hinge the left side of the art frame for more accessibility to the boxes. Installing hinges only takes a drill and a screwdriver.
