Quick Fire pruning for size

Can I expect to be able to cut back Quick Fire to control its width (and still have it look good)? I would like to plant one and am happy with its projected height, but am worried it will be too wide and overwhelm its location. I'm willing to prune once or twice a year and/or to try to shape it into a multi-stemmed tree form.

Gorgeous! thanks for the photos! But yeah, the second one is too wide. I'd need it to be half that width, probably. The first one is more promising.

What dimensions are you looking for? This is listed as about 8' x 8'. Perhaps if you started with a single trunk tree form from the nursery the that would help limit the spread.

I guess I'm thinking 6' wide max. Height isn't as important--8' or more is fine. Maybe I should look at Little Quick Fire instead.
