Bob I’m a sucker for roses yours Are so beautiful I don’t even see one black spot on those leaves just gorgeous! I’m growing a couple roses too but none so healthy I don’t think they like all the rain we get here it’s June and it’s about two weeks straight of rain to come. And now thanks to you I’m growing some figs too I see new bud growth in two of the cuttings I can’t wait for it to grow actual leaves and fruit!

Be careful when you it in a pot, roots are very brittle. Hold the plant at the level you choose and slowly fill around the roots, after pot is filled while still holding the plant, water it, than let go. Potting soil is what would use, the first growing season. If it’s growing good , repot around March or so. My growroom stays around 65*, I can do it in January.

Sure... every year, I grow tree rats, robins, chipmunks, and vols. They (robins) managed to peck off all my satsumas in the last two days since they couldn't get at my blueberries under netting. First year they've attacked any of my citrus that I can recall. Well, my blueberry bush bird net did remove two robins which got tangled and died in yesterday's swelter.

I guess for other potted plants... I have two dragon fruit plants, Jasmine, Queen of the Night, Ti plants, and Allamandas (yellow flowers) on my patio.

I’ve become rose-obsessed lately, so I have a bunch in the ground. I also grow a few veggies and greens in the summer.
