Candy Bandit is blooming today for the first time. It was planted last fall and these are actually 'cheater scapes' but the they are the taller and best budded ones I have ever seen. This daylily is a Culver hybrid from Canada.

Jack's Mischief was a bonus planted this spring. It's a Grossmann intro. Jack, I believe is Grossmann's cat.

I don't recommend Carpathian Magic for this climate but it can be drop dead gorgeous. After many years I have 2 fans.

Indelible Blood is another red that is hard to photograph. It has a rich black overlay and is advertised as sunfast. It is a small one. We just planted it this spring. It is registered with 44 inch tall scapes.

There was no clear cut Queen of the seedlings today, but I thought this one was interesting. The petal color is that dirty pink mauve but the eye was quite blue. This is Curious Cutie X Geometric Wizard.

Here are a couple of other plants blooming today. This is variegated coreopsis.

We purchased a monarda to plant. I love the color

Bob brought some clivias out of the greenhouse. They bloom well for him.
