I may just be paranoid. This is a double knockout rose that we put in about a month ago. This new cane is very soft, as are the thorns. And it’s just got a lot of red... but I’m fairly new to gardening, so I’m just not sure what exactly is normal. I had a couple of roses that I had to transplant at this same time, and cut them back a bit because they went into shock, so I’m paying extra close attention to all of them

trying to make sure everything bounces back okay.
