Lawn Mower-Push or Electric

I have a fairly small yard. Right now the lawn has a lot of weeds, some a foot high. Need a mower, nothing fancy. Push mower or inexpensive electric?

I have a battery powered mower, but I still have to push it. What are you calling a push mower? Is it "not a riding mower?"

Regardless of mower choice, I'd use a string trimmer on anything that's a foot high. (Or taller than 8").

Otherwise it's really your choice. A self propelled mower is nice on a larger area or with slopes. Electric is nice if you don't want to fiddle with managing a small engine and oil and gas. Battery is nice if you don't want to deal with a cord. Corded is nice if you don't want to deal with batteries. Reel mowers are nice if you keep on top of the mowing and don't let the grass grow too long, and horrible if you don't.

If budget is no issue, a battery powered self-propelled mower is probably what I'd recommend. And a battery powered string trimmer.
